Requirements to Receive Sub Fund Benefits:
All SUB FUND CLAIMS MUST BE TURNED IN TO THE BENEFITS OFFICE BY THE END OF THE DAY ON THURSDAYS.
SUB FUND CHECKS ARE PRINTED EVERY FRIDAY MORNING.
- ELIGIBLE FOR WELFARE BENEFITS - You must be eligible for benefits from the Welfare Fund for the period of time you are claiming a benefit from the Local 701 Sub Fund.
- UNEMPLOYED - You must be receiving weekly unemployment benefits from any State Department of Labor, Division of Unemployment during the period you are claiming a benefit from Sub Fund and present proof of payment for the weeks requesting benefits for.
- AVAILABLE FOR WORK - Means that during a given day you are registered upon and have bid on at least one job call on your priority out of work list per day.
- YOU MUST NOT BE COLLECTING WEEKLY LOSS OF TIME BENEFITS
- APPLICATION - You must complete and submit a Sub Fund application to the benefits office within 90 days after the end of the week for which benefits are claimed.
