Pension Credits are a measure of your employment while
covered by the Plan. They are used to determine eligibility for a pension benefit.
Generally, you receive one Pension Credit for each calendar year
in which you complete at least 500 hours of work. Under certain circumstances, you may be
eligible to receive additional Pension Credits if you have earned at least one Pension
Credit and are absent from Covered Employment due to a disability.
